Rental Terms & Cancellation Policy

These rental terms apply to every rental from Ivan Rental Works, 1316 W Mermod St, Carlsbad, NM 88220. Questions: (575) 213-5055. Last reviewed October 12, 2026.

1. Booking and payment

Rentals are paid in full at booking by credit or debit card, by phone or through a texted or emailed invoice. Payment holds the unit and the quoted price. Approved commercial accounts may pay by invoice on the terms shown on the invoice.

2. Rental periods

Event rentals cover up to 4 days on site, normally delivery the day before and pickup the day after the event. Long-term rentals bill in 28-day cycles beginning the day after delivery. Each cycle is charged when it begins and is not prorated.

3. Renewal

Long-term rentals renew automatically every 28 days at the base rate until you request pickup. The card on file is charged at the start of each cycle.

4. Cancellation and refunds

Event bookings cancelled at least 24 business hours before the scheduled delivery receive a full refund. Cancellations inside 24 business hours may be charged the delivery and pickup portion of the order. Same-day orders cancelled after the truck is dispatched are charged the rush fee. Long-term rentals stop billing on the day you request pickup; the current cycle is not refunded.

5. Delivery and site access

You agree to provide a safe, level placement area reachable by our service truck, and to share gate codes and access details. If the driver cannot reach the site or place the unit safely, a return-trip fee may apply. Weekend, holiday or after-hours delivery or pickup may carry an overtime fee quoted before booking.

6. Servicing

Long-term rentals include one service visit per week. Additional visits are billed per visit. Keep the service lane clear on service days.

7. Care of equipment and damage

Do not move, tip, burn, paint or place foreign objects in the units. You are responsible for loss, theft, vandalism, fire damage or misuse while the unit is on your site. Repair or replacement costs are billed at our cost. Hazardous materials, paint, oil and chemicals must not be placed in units.

8. Pickup

Call or text to request pickup on long-term rentals. Event units are picked up on the scheduled date. Pickup normally occurs within 1 to 3 business days of the request.

9. Permits

You are responsible for any permits needed to place units on streets, sidewalks, parks or public property, and for event permits that set restroom counts.

10. Liability

Ivan Rental Works is not responsible for damage to lawns, landscaping or surfaces from normal delivery, placement and servicing, or for delays caused by weather, road closures or site access problems.
