What makes a deluxe porta potty different?
A deluxe porta potty adds a foot-pump flushing toilet, a foot-pump sink with soap, paper towels and a mirror to the standard unit. The flush rinses the bowl with clean blue water, so the tank stays out of sight. The deluxe unit needs no hookups because fresh water rides in its own tank.
- Foot-pump flush, no electricity needed
- Foot-pump sink with soap and towel dispenser
- Mirror and coat hook
- Fits where a restroom trailer cannot

Deluxe Flushing Unit: questions before you book
Do you have porta potties that flush?
Ivan Rental Works rents deluxe porta potties with a foot-pump flush and a sink. The flush uses fresh water carried in the unit, so no hose or power is needed. Restroom trailers with real flush toilets are also available.
How much more is a flushing porta potty?
A deluxe flushing unit for a weekend event in Carlsbad starts at $245 plus tax with delivery and pickup, compared with $175 for a standard unit. Monthly pricing is quoted on request because flushing units need more frequent refills.
Does the deluxe unit need water or electricity?
The deluxe unit is self-contained. Fresh water is filled at delivery, and the foot pumps work without power. Busy events may need a mid-event refill visit.
How long will the fresh water last?
About 20 gallons of fresh water covers about 175 flushes and hand washes. For an event of 100 guests over 5 hours, two deluxe units usually run the whole event without a refill.
Can I use a deluxe unit on a construction job?
Deluxe units work well beside office trailers and on finish-stage jobs where the client visits. Freezing nights in winter can lock the foot pumps, so we switch to standard units with sanitizer when hard freezes are forecast.
